    Default Surgery in 3 days.

I am getting kinda scared or nerves not sure which.
I think that it is probably normal but it is really kicking in not sure if this happen to everybody or not but I will get over it.
I have every thing ready and probably more then I need just want to make sure that I will not be missing any thing.
I have no idea what to think about going to Mexico but I am sure that every thing will be just fine. I have ask my coordinator like a billion questions and she is so sweet and always their to answer every question I might need to ask. I have talk to the person that will be picking me up from San Diego and also very sweet.
So that puts me to a ease and makes me feel more at ease.
So I hope you all will pray for me so that every thing turns out just find.

It's normal to be scared or nervous before the surgery. I was sleepless for several days! You will feel much better after it's over.

Do you have an app on your phone for translations? That could be useful if you are not fluent in Spanish...I used mine several times for Chinese, most of my nurses were fluent in English but sometimes if one nurse couldn't say a word of English it was a great help.

My best wishes for your surgery, take care and keep us posted!

If you are not scared or nervous then you should worry. This is a big step. You made a decision that is right for you....I could compare it to getting your tooth pulled [I do not like going to the dentist...apologies to all the dentists out there] but this is more life changing. After the surgery continue using this sight...it helped me a lot. Take care..

I was the same ! I was thinking all this surgery, risk and recovery just because of food !! But as we know its not just about food ! Mine was Jan 16th and it was all fine ... Bit of nausea and gas pain but all forgotten know as the excitement of the journey has began. Ive reads loads and loads of stories from people going to Mexico ( mine was UK btw ) and 99% of those accounts were totally positive ! Good luck

I also have been with out sleep for the last 2 day. The facility where I am having surgery told me that they are in deed fluent in English.
So I did like that, I was worried about having surgery for the same thought I thought I was not going to be able to under stand what they where trying to say to me.
