Heya! I saw you guys coming out in the morning, as our group of 6 was just arriving on Wednesday (at the OCC). Kind of fun to run into you here too! Hope everything went well and are doing great! Probably run into you walking the halls of the Marriott ..hehe

I am now 3+ weeks out. Losing weight slowly but surely! When I say slowly, though, I mean compared to so many I have heard of! Some of the posts and blogs I have been reading tell of 30-40 pound losses in the first month out. I have lost 17 pounds since surgery and a total of 45 since I started my sleeve journey 12/10/2015! Still the best weight loss I have ever had in a 2 month period!!!

Some other non scale victories: now fit into jeans in size 18! Just bought a new cardigan in XL instead of XXXL!!! And am able to walk over 2 miles (not all at one time but over the course of the day!

Still having a hard time getting enough water in as well as all the protein I need. Progress is being made on both counts though.

Hi Leanne,

You are doing really good! I had surgery one day after you and lost 14 pounds since surgery.

In three weeks it's a lot, with a diet it could take two months and not three weeks.

Right now I also have a hard time to get all my water and my protein, I guess it will become better in a few weeks!

You are making good progress. The journey lasts a life time so just take your time and enjoy. Getting all the protein and liquids in is hard. Do your best. Just keep trying to do better. I still work at getting enough protein. Liquids are no longer a problem. Good luck!!

Had a bad day today. Cold coming on and I only walked 1/2 mile. That is 1/2 mile more than I did pre op though! The past few days though I was over2 miles. Did drink more in the form of herbal teas so will see what tomorrow brings'

I have changed my weight 4 times on my ticker but for some reason it is not sticking. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
