Dear friend...I wish I could be there with you in person but I will be in spirit and support 100%. Very good luck to you and for a fast recovery. woooohoooo!!! You will look and feel great pretty soon and I will be right behind you following your steps so please keep in touch and keep me posted of what is going on and how you are feeling. So far this is the list of things I found out you will need... toilet paper, ear plugs, paper towels, x strip gas, straw bottle, laxative, heating pad, pillow, small blanket, extension cord, bath towels and wash cloths.... omg !! what a list !! but better prepared than sorry, right? Well, you are a man and you guys usually travel light, us girls.... don't even ask !! if we could we will bring our whole collection of shoes...hahahahahah......well, like I said ...you are not alone and you can do this !!

I am 26 days post op. I don't know why you need to bring toilet paper or paper towels ear plugs or laxative. You take your laxative 3 days before surgery. If your going to MX bring your own toiletries (shampoo/conditioner lotion) for sure. Your pillow from home and a small blanket are very nice to have. Also sandals/slippers with traction. Good luck!

I am traveling alone and trying to do carry on inky because I don't want to have to worry about my bags all over the place traveling that far. So I am trying to pack light. It is hard for a girl lol. I got the necessities and the rest going if it fits. You might see me in the same shoes for 5 days lol. Also just packing simple clothes.

Call your cell phone company and see if you will have service in Mexico. Bring a good pillow and a DVD player and DVDs because there is only two English Channel. I am three months post op and I appreciate the staff at the hotel and hospital. You will be treated well. As far as the surgery,you will go low to high BMI. I was up there so I went last that evening. So be prepared to wait and don't be surprised to see 20 people waiting to have the procedure.
