Half way there!!!!!

I was told on my last apt that I was half way to the surgery day!!! I go see the heart dr the 21st to get that part of the clearance. I also have given up all soda pop and Bacon. I am now quitting smoking as of today. What other steps is there for the Surgical clearance?

Good for you! Quitting smoking may be a difficult challenge! But you can do it. look how much you have done already. Just getting half way to surgery can be draining-all the appointments and new information to absorb. Maybe add 15-30 minutes of walking to your day if you are not already doing that. Maybe 3 times a week and work up to 5. Best wishes to you. I for one do not regret having this surgery!
