    Default stalling at 4 months

I have only lost 4 lbs this month, sticking right around 176. So far I have lost 52#. This is just a stall right? Has anyone gotten to this point and stopped losing altogether? I'm afraid it's over already. I would really like to lose 25-35 more. Any advice or personal experiences with this?

Sassyrae21, I don't believe you've reached the end of your weight loss days. Weight loss is slow some months and faster on others. My weight on the day of surgery was right were you started. I'm 8 weeks out and I've lost 32 or so pounds. On my visit with the doctor last month he told me I was were I should be. My personal estimation is I'll reach my goal wight of 145 around November or December. I expect some months where I may only drop a few pounds but from past experience I know you just keep at it and the weight will come off. Continue to log your food, watch your carbs and fat and you'll start losing again.

10 years ago I lost 103 lbs, it took a full year for me to get the weight off. My issue has never been weight loss it's keeping the weight off. I never hit a stall that eventually didn't break. I probably did things that weren't that healthy to make the scales move, which I won't repeat again. Well, nothing to unhealthy but I did do a raw food diet for two weeks once. I wouldn't do that with the sleeve because I don't think it would be wise.

Just keep in mind even 1 pound a week is progress and that would get you to your goal by the end of the year. Hang in there.

i loose three pounds one month four another then eleven one month and only lost like three in past two months then in a matter of two weeks i dropped five pounds the weight loss makes no sense i guess it is all in what your body wants to do i see where several people stall or lose small amounts which my NUT told me i was on track so guess losing small amounts is normal if they tell me i am on track just some months you are gonna lose more than others just keep doing what you are doing the weight will come off again

Yep probably just a stall. My loss went in fits and starts. Toward the end I thought I was going to end up about 10lb heavier when I stayed about the same for six weeks, then all of a sudden I dropped the last bit quite quickly and then evened out.
