How do I add an avatar???

Hi! I know how to add an avatar on a PC but my PC died and all I have is a tablet. I cannot figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

I got a message on my ipad that said I needed to use a laptop or desktop. not compatible other wise

Just in case anyone else has encounter this problem on the Google Nexus 7, it is possible but you must add the avatar via a valid URL using the copy and paste feature. I don't know if this works for all tablets but it did on my Nexus 7.
