I assume you were asking me that? LOL I am not sure if I want t keep cooking like that. I love grilled meat, Hell I love meat in general. I am having Rib-eye's and Shrimp and Steamed broccoli (with real Butter of course)tonight. Maybe later or maybe if the husband ask me really nice I will cook him something fried. Poor guy is loosing weight and doesnt need too...
Honestly the purpose of this surgery is to be a tool to help you loose your weight. It is up to you to maintain it. If you continue to eat bad foods you would have went through all of this for nothing even if it in small portions. My friend lost 100 pounds and gained 85 of it back by eating bad foods in smaller portions and taking 3 hrs to eat a cheeseburger. It still is a cheeseburger LOL. IJS
I feel like I taste things more "clearly" since surgery. Or more fully. I don't know what to call it. For example, today I had a small piece of mango ginger stilton cheese, and the flavors were so overwhelming and rich, I could only eat a little bite. When I eat a juicy canned apricot, the taste explodes in my mouth. Maybe it's just being off sugar and processed carbs--I'm re-sensitizing.
I don't know about others, but my sleeve does NOT like fried food. As soon as it lands, I start gurgling, then burping, then vomiting. This has been a huge "gift" because I love fried food, so now I don't have to fight the cravings since I know what's going to happen. (Excuse me now... I need to go weep in the corner as I cradle this photo of a chicken fried steak.)
