Hi All! How long after surgery did it take your sex drive to return? I know everyone's is different, but would you say at least six weeks? Just wondering?

Immediately. I don't recall not wanting to have sex after surgery. I waited a week I think.

My thing didn't work right (peeing) after surgery because of the anesthesia. Once that wore off, I was good to go.

It was about 5 days, but it wasn't about sex drive for me , it was more about being comfortable. Uhh,,, Ummm,,cough cough,, I never lost my sex drive.;-)

Mine never went away, and my surgeon said I didn't have to wait. Took advantage of that as soon as I got home two days after surgery.

About a week and a half post-op. It was surprising. I assumed it would be the last thing on my mind as I was healing up but, honestly, I feel so good I think my whole body wants to celebrate.

Post-Sleeve Weight Loss YR 1:
Month 1: 17 lb
M 2: 12 lb
M 3: 11 lb
M 4: 9 lb
M 5: 6 lb
M 6: 7 lb
M 7: 5 lb
M 8: 6 lb
M 9: 5 lb
M 10: 4 lb
M 11: 6 lb
M 12: 6 lb
Total Weight Loss: 124 lb (101 lb post-sleeve)

Never lost it, and my husband wouldn't care what the bariatric surgeon said anyways, he would ask what the dentist said! LOL
1st Goal- Be below 200 pounds
2nd Goal-lose 50 pounds( Half way to final goal)
3rd Goal-weigh less than my husband(164)
4th and Final-Lose 100 pounds total!
