How much does Dr. Almanza charge in 2015?

I know the answer to my question is somewhere on these forums, but I've conducted more than one search and cannot locate the answer.

How much is Dr. Almanza charging for a gastric sleeve in 2015? Although I have been pre-approved by my insurance company, I am currently jumping through additional hoops that my surgeon requires. I am asking about Dr. Almanza's fees because I want a backup plan in case my first plan falls through, or in the event that I lose my employer-sponsored health insurance.

I've seen ballpark figures of about $5,000. If this is true, are there any hidden fees? Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to reply.

No hidden fee with me. price was 4499.00 that was it......

My surgery is on Thursday and I paid $4499 total, no other charges for the surgery. I paid $200 for the hotel because I plan on having a little vacation / recovery time. But so far that is it, I am also driving down from Los Angeles so I had to put extra insurance on my car but that was only $100.
