Hi All,

Good luck to all of you who are planning or deciding to have the gastric sleeve. Mine was Sept. 16, 2014. It took me several weeks before I was confident that I had done the right thing. NOW I'm always thinking or saying, "I'm so glad I did it!" For the first few weeks, I just didn't feel like myself and began to wonder if I ever would. Now I feel like myself only better. I have lots of energy and, naturally, love the improvements I'm seeing in the mirror. Only have 15+ pounds to reach my goal. I had tried everything for years and years. I'm finally free.

I love your statement: "I'm finally free." Even though for most of my life I didn't let my weight stop me from going on adventures and trying new things, it has always been an albatross. The last several years, it escalated into a hundred albatrosses, and I can't wait to get them off my neck. To be FREE as well!!

Wow! You've really lost a lot of weight. Congratulations. I'm wondering if you had a problem with hair loss and if so, what did you do about it?
