Hello my name is Brenda and I live in Tampa Florida and I've decided to have the sleeve procedure done as soon as next by Dr almanza can someone tell me more about the doctor ,the trip the hospital and also where you stayed when they put you up in Tijuana

My experience was good. It wasn't the same quality of care one gets in Canada. I went alone and I found this hard as after the surgery I was put in a room right beside the disco that did not stop until 6 a.m. If I would have had someone with me I would have had a better hotel room and much more sleep. I am glad I got it done and I feel like I am on top of the worlds.

I had Dr. Curiel 5 days ago, and thought he was excellent. Other than fatigue, I haven't had any major issues with my sleeve. I've had no trouble drinking fluids, and have had no real pain.

Hi...how was the hospital? Was it Clinica San Juan? What about the travel from airport to hotel to clinic, etc. Did you feel safe?

I felt perfectly safe. The driver was excellent--he was waiting at the airport when we arrived, and took us to the hotel promptly. The hospital was Clinica San Juan, and overall I was pleased with it. It was extremely clean, and the people were very nice. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have some staff members who spoke better English. At times communication was a bit difficult, primarily with the nurses and administrator. The doctors' English was adequate.

Hello, I am encouraged by the posts that I read that Dr. Jose Luis Curiel will be a fine Dr. to have my sleeve done by. I have some questions. Do you tip the driver, and if so how much. Also how many days can I stay in Mexico? What are your meals after the surgery and for how long?
