Question On the Horizon - Mixed Feelings

I just received a letter from my insurance company notifying me that I have been approved for the Gastric Sleeve procedure. I have mixed feelings. I assume that is normal?

I think so. I was waiting, waiting not very patiently and them I got my date. For one minute (maybe two) I was absolutely panicked. Then I went and looked in the mirror, remembered my latest blood pressure test and breathed. Now I am back to being excited but everyonce in a while I still panic.

Definitely normal. I felt the same way when I got my approval. Congratulations! You are on your way.

Of course! It's a huge decision. It's only normal that you would feel that way. I felt kinda mixed up until the day of surgery. LOL. But now that's it's done---I wouldn't change it for the world!
