When will I feel normal again...?

For those who have already had it...how long did it take you to feel normal again? My family is going to Disney world 2 1/2 months after my surgery...will I be able to do anything?

Yes, two and a half months and you should easily be able to do everything. It took me six weeks to feel normal. I felt pretty good prior to that, but I was still struggling with being very tired. At about six weeks that all changed and I got some energy back.

Took me about 6 weeks to start feeling ok.
I just came back from Disneyland a couple of days ago and did well.
We walked around 9/10 hrs.

I go to Disney World often. First time after surgery was about three weeks out. I was tired but I did ok. By two and a half months you should be able to enjoy your vacation and there's no place like the World when it comes to chefs who are happy to accommodate special dietary needs.

I'm only 12 days out but yesterday I suddenly realised that I felt pretty normal. Doing things does make me tired - but to be honest, it used to before I'm sure after 10 weeks, you'll be feeling FAB!

It took me almost 4 weeks to get all of my energy back but then it got a lot better. It took about 2 months before I was able to stay up past 9:30pm.

I'm at two months out and feel like my old self only lighter and more active. you should be fine at Disney and rides will be great. Enjoy and count down the days.

I will be 100% honest, I wasn't too comfortable on a ride where the bar rested right against my belly but I was nowhere near two and a half months out at that point. Everything else was fine. I'll be there again in a few weeks and will do my best to remember to let you know how I did. The folks I'll be with want to try the new mine train ride.

It took me nearly 3 or 4 months if I recall right when I wasn't dragging ass and feeling like my legs were made of lead. But I would think that all depends on if you keep up your protein and the vitamins. I take daily B12 as well as an all purpose and C and D too. Been kind of lazy about taking them all and i can feel it when I don't. I take the B12 3 times a day when I remember.

Now 2 years out I can walk all over the place without feeling winded but then again I am quite a bit older than most of you here too so being tired comes with being 56 years old

I was walking, albeit gingerly, around the USS Midway 6 days after my surgery. It really won't take too long to have enough energy for Disney - 2.5 months is plenty of time
