I amd 10 months out, approching my goal weight, now worried it will keep dropping, how do I slow it down without eating the wrong stuff?
I still have a ways to goal, but I assume it's all about caloric intake. Maybe you will have to start incorporating some snacks into your day, etc. to boost your calorie intake up enough that you maintain instead of lose. Even small things like drinking 1% milk instead of skim milk or eating full fat cheese instead of low fat cheese can give you a calorie boost.
Hi conan,
Congrats on your success! Since the sleeve and your habits are working for you, why not continue what you're doing? Your body will know when to slow down the weight loss on its own. The goal weight is just a calculated number; your body knows best.
I agree with tenor12bucks. You may have a goal weight and as long as it's not the lowest for your bmi let your body decide. It will stop and gain a few back on its own. I would be afraid that I would trick my body into thinking I don't want to be at this low weight and it decide to gain again cause you felt it was low. Try building muscle that will add a few pounds back.
thanks for all the advise, will make a few adjustments to calories, unfortunately I still eat very small portions, but healthy ones, just dont want to look sickly, lol. I never thought I would say I dont need to lose weight, what a feeling! no regrets except I should have done it sooner.
