    Default Exercise Tip!

    So guys its really hot outside, (at least it is in South Alabama), too hot for me to walk outside with my heart problem. So I started walking the inside perimeter of Walmart Super Center. Its huge and quite the workout!

    What a fabulous idea!! Congrats on being so committed that you are prepared to look outside the square. It is winter here in Perth and I have started parking my car at the furthest point from where I am going - weather permitting. I also enter shopping centres at the furthest point from where I am heading. Every bit helps.

    I am in love with Walk Away the Pounds DVD's, there are several workouts with different levels, distances, even with HIITS and weights if you like. I started with the basic 1 mile, took me a little bit, but I am up to 2 miles straight. I can walk 3 miles when outside, but to do the workout with your arms incorporated makes it more potent, at least for me.

    When it's hot outside like this I actually like to walk the inside of the perimeter of the mall, since I live so close to it. It's a large mall so one 'lap' around it is better than the walking trails at my gym. And no I don't stop to shop, I don't even bother to look in the windows of stores.
