Insurance took 3 weeks but.....

My surgery is Monday!!! So on the 30th, I'll be getting sleeved. I'm excited and just now starting to get anxious.

This liquid diet has been ok, I have been on it for 9 days (it's shorter than the 14 I thought just because that's how scheduling worked out). I was doing great but am struggling today. We had a birthday party with burgers, hotdogs, all of the trimmings, and THREE cakes with ice cream. This is my fat mind's dream. My liquid diet mind was not happy but I took my protein and made it through. Tomorrow is clear liquids and I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am Monday.

Man, you guys have dealt with all of my pre-sleeve updates dealing with the 7 month doctor supervised diet, nutrition class, support group meeting, sleep study, insurance approval, everything. I can't wait to have updates post-sleeve!!

Good luck and congrats! I didn't even go to bed I was so excited and I didn't want to be late! I waited to long for this day. Make sure you have the gas x strips when you come home. I am firm believer in those things. That was the only pain I had, of course the actual surgery was just uncomfortable but didn't really have pain. I liked the pain medicine button...lol but get excited the weight starts to come off immediately and sip sip sip. Hospital coffee is terrible and with jello it really sucks...lol but trust me your hunger will be gone! Say a prayer for you!
