On Dec. the 17th I had gastric sleeve surgery after years of being over weight and having major health problems. I was around
260 lbs and taking 8 blood pressure pills a day. I was also taking all the other little pills that go along with them like asprin, fluid pills and potasium. Five years ago I found out I had thyroid cancer so I had it removed and was put on Synthroid too. I let my healt go down hill and my only hope was the surgery, Since the surgery I have lost around 50 pounds and that is wonderful. But the wonderful thing is I had the surgery. I have much lower blood pressure and my BP pills are down to 1 1/2 a day. The reason I have gone into detail on everything is because of what happened to me 3 months after my surgery. At the end of March I started having headaches and my vission got real bad and my memory was awful. After going to the eye doctor and not finding what was wrong, I was sent for a MRI and found out I had a stroke. I am doing well thank God, but if I had not had the surgery I could have been a lot worse off. I am so glad I got my sleeve
