    Default Unjury????

I'm 9mo out from sleeve. Im just now trying unjury. I think it's disgusting. I've tried it in juice and coffee. My nutritionist recommended unjury and a lot of people said it tastes great. I disagree. Does anyone have any recipes that they like? I have vanilla, chocolate and unflavored.

It has an aftertaste that I can't get over. It's in the one that isn't flavored and the one that is chicken flavored, so I would assume the rest as well. It's gross and I won't drink it.

Sorry that I'm not much help, but I'm with you in that it's gross.

    Protein Chai
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder, (I prefer Unjury, but experimenting with other cheaper brands now)
1TB (or to taste) Nestea tea dust in the jar
1-2 TB nonfat dry milk (or you could use a splash of liquid milk)
    Cinnamon to taste
    Ginger to taste
    Cloves to taste

I like it hot, but it works best if you mix a small amount of warm water to make a paste before adding the hot water. Not too hot or it'll get chunky. It's good cold too!

Don't worry about hurting my feelings because I guarantee you not one bit of my self esteem is tied up in your acceptance.

i was an avid Unjury hater!!! but i tried the chocolate w/splendor and was like cool. it's better to mix w/milk -that's my preference. my favorite recipe is chocolate w/splendor, lactaid milk, caramel torani fat free syrup (1 tablespoon- or to your liking) and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and a couple of pieces of ice and you have a bomb shake! check out according to egg face website. she has a bunch of protein shake recipes as well.

I also add the unflavored to grits but you have to add to your tastings- it's about a 1/4 of the scoop that i can take in my grits.
I also have mixed the chocolate w/splendor in greek yogurt to make a dip for my fruit. I've used the vanilla by Jay Robb in my oatmeal.
so try adding the flavored powder to greek yogurt to be used as a dip or added kick.

i only like the chocolate w/splendor and the vanilla- the others sucks to me. try out Jay Robb's Whey protein as well- the vanilla is okay- i bought the strawberry one- haven't tried it yet- going to try it out sometime today. But for me - milk is the key...mixed w/water is for the birds!

    Good Luck

Hmm...I'm still in the trial and error phase pre-op. This is a little disappointing. Was looking for a good unflavored protein powder and was planning on trying the Unjury. I'm still going to buy a sample pack online from Amazon, as everyone's tastes are different, but you can usually tell a lot from reviews.

    Thanks for the heads up!!!

I've had no issues with any Unjury product. I also like the Syntrax Nectar. Neither taste heavenly, but it's about what you are willing to tolerate to get to your goal. If you find it intolerable, that's okay. I had Isoflex Arctic Orange Milkshake and Ultimate Nutrition Iso-Sensation 93 Cookies 'n Cream that I loved before surgery, but afterwards I had to throw them away.
Have you tried Isopure? The strawberries & cream and vanilla flavours are good.
Be the change you wish to see in the world. (Not Gandhi's exact words, but close enough)

The only way I could tolerate the Unjury chocolate splendor I spent a fortune on was to mix with heated milk, sf salted caramel or hazelnut Torani and drink out of a lidded coffe cup. Helps block the smell.
