I never wore shorts! Truly as the owner of a stable/riding instructor I wear jeans to ride but times I wasn't planning to ride I still always wore long pants-even when it was 90+ outside. When people asked me aren't you hot I said no and I can't stand bugs getting on my legs- barns are just buggy. That's kind of true but more so I couldn't stand my fat legs. Yesterday after a quick shopping trip I wore shorts and a tank top to the barn...they were a size 8-10!!! From a 24!!! Funny how the bugs weren't so bad- and I was cooler : )

Congrats on the loss. I'm so envious. I want horses so badly. It is a dream of mine to own enough land to have 2 horses. I love riding!

I just bought my first pairs of shorts as well! It is definitely cooler:-)

one thing I am looking forward to is being able to mount my horse without grunting and groaning to just get in the saddle !! And I am sure she will be thankful I am lighter too !!
