Purchased T 25 today!!!

I have not heard too many people talking about their excercized routine. We are going to do this. We always have liked to push ourselves and I think this will push us and give us something to do together. I think I am going to have a blast!! My Husband is on a mission since I have been sleeved. I know he is saying you are not leaving me behind, and I think tha is great!! What are some of you planning on doing for excercize?? Please share.

I like to do my Zumba at the gym... I bought awhile back Insanity but never even took it out of the box. One day I may try it.

Since We have a heated community pool .swimming and aqua jogging are my main activities but I have increased walking . My tall skinny 65 year old husband still plays tennis and basketball... So does not often join me in the pool but if it is getting g late he will walk with me . I have a friend who is dieting and she walks and joins me at the pool. It is harder to say "I don't feel like it today " when somebody is waiting outside your door. We both encourage each other .

I am back to being able to use the resistance machines at Curves.

Walk Monday to Friday on the treadmill at work about 2.5 miles. Then every day take a 2.5 mile walk. Softball once a week till games start then twice a week. Then yoga on thrusdays for an hour and Pilates in Wednesdays for an hour.

I haven't started exercising yet. Just over two weeks out, been very sick but will start off walking around the lake near my house....someone is always walking around it at every hour of every day. It is about 3.2 miles. Gonna try to do it all but not push myself too much at first. I do look forward to geing able to exercise more.

My sister and her husband started T 25 a couple of weeks ago and love it. I'm thinking about getting it to supplement my current routine. Step on Monday, Spin on Tuesday, Barre on Wednesday, Zumba on Thursday and a personal training session once a week. I try to get to the gym on the weekends but doesn't always happen...that's why I'd like to supplement.

T25 looks pretty insane to me. I do kettlebells, ab workouts, martial arts training, basketball and bike riding. thats enough without doing extremely high intensity stuff like T25, but good luck to those can do it for any length of time without getting burnt out.

I get to go back to the gym beginning Monday--so it's back to the weight resistance machines. I'm not a big fan of cardio, but will use the elliptical to warm up and cool down. I have a slew of cardio dvd's but not a lot room to move around.

I purchased a high quality stationary bike and use it every morning before work. It sits in a corner of the living room withing view of the big screen so whatever Netflix series I'm into at the moment gets me up to find out "what happens next"? That way I can be "lazy" when I come home!

You will LOVE HATE LOVE HATE LOVE LOVE LOVE T25. I started it after being cleared 2 weeks after my sleeve. I injured myself and have been off for 3 weeks. Did Alpha & Beta series. Love Beta much more than Alpha, but you need to do them for the full 5 weeks in order. In the meantime while off on injuries (pinched nerve in my neck), we have walked 5-7 miles a day. It helped with mixing it up. I am going to start the Gamma series on Monday. Probably will re-injury myself or fall over from it...lol...It's a tuff one no moderation. It's so easy to get 25 minutes in during the day. One thing you might notice is that your weight won't come off as quickly because T25 is really about strength and muscle building which is better but the scale is slower dropping. I really have noticed my stall outs I was having for 3-4 weeks at a time haven't happened since I stopped doing it. I am consistently dropping weight just walking. So FYI it's great for toning while exercising. Not sure I would want it any other way, but I got very impatient with my long stalls. It's really a great program. I personally think you made a good choice. I also have Zumba dvds but haven't done them much. Good luck!
