Celebrating with a 5 K

So The goal set forth by my Nutritionist was 175lbs. And with an over whelming joy I reached that Goal at the end of March!! My Personal goal is 165lbs. only 7 to go, Woohoo for me!

To celebrate this VICTORY... I bought a new pair of well needed and deserved running shoes and signed up for my first 5K! It will be this coming Saturday, the 3rd of May! I am running to help a Local church, Christian Calvary Church, in digging a well for a community in Africa. I'm so excited!

So I officially lost 93lbs. from April 24, 2013- April 24th, 2014.

It was awesome! I felt so exhilarated. It was a blessing beyond belief! I thought I wouldn't know anybody there but I found a family that I used to go to church with. I ended up running with the teenage daughter Ali. And although I placed 18th for my age group she got third place for her age group so I know I didn't do that bad I ran it in 42.20 minutes! I felt like I at least needed to get my foot wet... no I didn't train or even run daily. I JUST DID IT! I used my heart rate Monitor and ran and walked according to my heart rate. I am So happy for myself! ! happy tears ya know! Just want to scream with joy... oh I already did that. Me and Ali was screaming along the route. So funny! So here are pics as promised! Thanks for your support and prayers. Thanks y'all!
