    Default saggy skin

Hi everyone! I have not yet had my sleeve surgery but I will eventually. I weigh 315 lbs and I'm 5' 4" , and I'm going to be 44 years old next month. My weight is mostly my tummy, hips and thighs. I'm just worried about lots of saggy skin. I know it's for my health that I'm going to have the surgery and not to be a model. I was just wondering especially for those about my size and height if you had to have plastic surgery after loosing weight. I know each person is different in loosing and the saggy skin part. Just wondering. Thanks for your time!

    ****1st goal 199 lbs **** 10/20/14

    ****2nd goal 175 lbs

    ****final goal 150 lbs

I had tons of saggy skin and just had the body lift. That is tummy tuck, butt lift and outer thigh lift. Going to have inter thigh lift and arms next

Im 5 feet tall and 57. Started at 219; 5 months out. My neck is awful, the belly and hips can be hidden with shapewear:-) Seriously, hoping for a necklift this summer. Next summer, mini tummy tuck and arms.

I'm 5'6" and started at 235 ish. I've got 25 lbs to go, (headed to 135 lbs, for an even 100 lb loss I hope), and skin, well, yeah. I may never wear shorts again. At a size 8 now, I look amazing in jeans and most other clothes, but sleeveless or shorts or short dresses... I'm pretty self conscious. They say wait at least a year from when you reach goal to make a decision on plastics. We'll see what happens. I wouldn't trade these results for the world though! Right now I'm just thankful for capris and cute little bolero jackets!

Don't worry about hurting my feelings because I guarantee you not one bit of my self esteem is tied up in your acceptance.

Yes. You'll have some sag. You'll be amazed at how beautiful you'll feel. I was a thin fit person for longer than I was heavy. While it's hard to see some loose skin on my arms.... I'm beginning to feel like me again. Still a long way to go, but feeling healthy, having energy, wearing fun clothes in smaller sizes.... Being able to walk for what seems like forever. I don't have time to concern myself with loose skin. Weights, walking.... If at 18 months out I can't stand it, I'll address it then. Enjoying the journey. Blessings!

We have the same stats. I am doing my surgery tomorrow. I am 157 today. I wanted to get to goal but the doctor urged me not to. He wanted the fat to use on my butt. I'll post my before and after when I'm done!
