How would you like me to reply? I don't live on this site. I have a full time job and a family and some pretty severe wounds to attend to. All I wanted to do was express my experience in the hope that no one else would have to go through this. I don't know what you need to see to validate my accountability, but it is what it is. I really don't need your belief to know what happened to me.

I am still trying to get an answer for why they did not perform the surgery for me. I requested to speak to the surgeon several times while I was there and I asked for an interpreter, but he is like a god and no one is allowed near him. At one point after I asked to speak to him, I was leaving my room to go to the bathroom, and the nurse came running over to me and shoved me back in my room, probably thinking I was going after him. She wouldn't let me come out until he had left. I think I am ok physically, but I have to wait for the infection to calm down first and I will know for sure. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially I feel like I am violated. I honestly don't understand it either...

I didn't have my surgery at Jeruselum hospital, but I'm just curious as to your post op routine. Did they act like you had the surgery? Did you have a drain? Did they do a post op barium swallow X-ray? At OCC I had a barium fluoroscopy on the 3rd day and could actually see my tiny sleeve. Can you literally sit down and eat a big steak dinner at this point? Have you had a doctor look at your incisions to make sure you don't get septic? So sorry for your bad experience.

Very good questions Kindle. We're just asking for some proof as to how Leuke determined the surgery did not occur. All Almanzas patients drink the blue stuff and get an X-ray.

I don't think we're being unreasonable. I have a life and 3 kids...4 if you count my husband but I'm on here for information and support for this surgery.

I can understand your caution. I can only share what has been the truth of my experience. I am not spewing anger. I am a well-balanced professional and I work myself in the healthcare field. I talk with unhappy patients all the time. I know what it can look like from the outside. But this may save someone else from the sorrow and disappointment I am now experiencing.

Can you please elaborate? This makes no sense. How can your intake be the same, you should be on clear liquids only. How can you even "know" that if you are following the directions like you say? Why wasn't the surgery done? Or are you saying he "pretended" to do the surgery, but did not? Please respond, because I was fearless about this - until now.

KWKIKI. There aren't any specifics. Just vague generalizations. Did Leuke have a scan performed that verified the sleeve surgery did NOT occur.

If Leuke would just explain how he/she confirmed his/her stomach is in the original in-touched state, how did he/she come to this conclusion.


Did Leuke have a barium X-ray performed? Did Leuke wake up to hospital staff saying they didn't complete the surgery?

Why we're laparoscopic incisions so large to be confused with full surgical incisions?

Has Leuke seen a US physician who can confirm this?

Mixiegirl- what does that mean? Is he still doing the sleeve surgery? Is it just a different type of "place"? Are you scheduled at Jerusalem or the Woman's Hospital? I really am unsteady now, I thought i was so sure. I want this done and to begin the rest of my life. I can't afford much more than what he charges considering the airfare from Key West and other expenses. thanks

So basically Leuke is saying that Dr. Almanza is a really expensive MIME in the vsg theater doing fake surgeries. Still makes no sense.

All logic would dictate the need for empirical evidence. One fact other than "feelings " would clear this Scooby Doo mystery up.

It takes a lot to irritate me and my troll radar is starting to warm up.

Either that or there is a language or information "processing" error any psychologist can notice. I call Bull.
