Default Will my surgery be delayed?

Will they delay my procedure if I had a blood clot in my leg? I got the venous somogram today and the tech said something that made me feel un-easy. Then would only tell me i would get my results at my next appt.

Does anyone know exactly what they are looking for during the sonogram? And if it was a blood clot would my surgery get delayed so i could get it treated?

Not sure when your appointment is, but I would hope that if you did have a blood clot in your leg they would have tol dyou immediately so that it could be treated. Left untreated could be very dangerous.

Not sure how it would ultimately affect your surgery since we are all given blood thinners as part of the surgery meds so that blood clots are not developed and that is the reason why the doctors ask that we start walking as soon as possible after surgery.

Most likely they will want to treat the blood clot before performing the surgery as it itself can carry a risk of blood cots.

I would assume so, I think blood clots are a major thing they don't want happening to you during or after surgery.
