weight stalls --- AGAIN!

I have my 6 week check up in a couple days and I haven't lost any weight in the last 2 weeks - i've been bouncing up and down 2-3 lbs but cant seem to break it. I'm so frustrated. I feel like if I go into my check up only losing another 12-15 lbs since the last time I saw him, that my doctor isn't going to be pleased, it's stressing me out and making me nervous - I hate that so much of my existence revolves around my weight. I don't eat bad things anymore, I ONLY drink water, i physically can't over-eat... how is this possible???

Your ticker doesn't say how much of your weight loss was in pre-op versus post-op, but it looks great to me. If the doctor isn't pleased - well, it's not like he can take the surgery back. Plus if he doesn't think you have done great, he will only try to help find solutions. Relax, it really looks like you have done wonderful!

I've done the same thing with being stalled. Up and down 2 or 3 pounds for a couple of weeks, then I start loosing again. Are you exercising? I have found that when I exercise on a very routine basis (I wish that was all the time) that I stay stagnent for a few weeks, then start loosing again. I think it has to do with the loosing muscle vs. fat. My doctor told me that I had to really make sure and do strength exercises to build my muscle mass so that I can burn more fat.

Your doctor will not be disappointed in you, and him/her for their advise and they will help you to the next weight loss phase.

I just posted a similar thing this morning. I was sleeved in May and I have been fluctuating between 177 and 179 for three weeks now. I work out 5 days a week, do weight training, and get plenty of liquids. Please let me know what your doc says about breaking the stall. This is the longest I have stalled thus far.

Sleeved in June and have been in a stall for over a month. Stuck at 181. Frustrating!!!
