Date Changed because of a root canal..grrr

Last night i had to have an emergency root canal. I was supposed to get sleeved on November 27 and now it got moved to December 31. Now i have to go through the holidays having all those temptations which i don't want. I understand because of the infection in my mouth it wouldn't not be safe. But why ME... ugh..So i guess it will be a Happy New Year to me..Anyone else had this happen to them.

Oh nooooo. I can only imagine your disappointment.

I recently had to have an emergency root canal, too. It was awful.. I had some bad side effects come up from it. That being said, I'm glad you have to wait. If your face does what my face did after a few days, there's no way you'd be able to endure a surgery, too.

It's bad luck, but maybe it happened for a reason? Maybe you're just not supposed to go under the knife that day. I'd be really bummed if I was you, too. There has to be a bright side to this!

Edit -- A bright side! You won't be in pain during Christmas?

That must be frustrating! I know I was so excited to get mine done that I asked to be on a waitlist in case of cancellations and it worked. Once you are recovered from your root canal, you might ask about the option to move your surgery up a bit. Being on a liquid diet over Christmas does not sound like fun, but what a way to ring in the new year. Imagine how you will feel on New Year's Eve in 2014!

I think it's a blessing. You get to enjoy a Christmas Eve dinner, a Christmas Day lunch and look forward to a healthy New Year!
