Well, it's the end of week three and I only lost 2lbs. Has anyone else had that issue this early on? I'm walking daily and following my diet. So disappointed.
Yes, its normal. Most people stall around weeks 2-4. I stalled at week 2, week 4 and week 8. Very frustrating. Just make sure you are gettins enough calories because too few calories can send your body into starvation mode and you will not lose. A 2lb weight loss is awesome!
glad you asked that sleevedrn. I'm at week 3 and felt the same frustration. Just got off my cycle on top of that and when I weighed last week it said I had gained 3 lbs. I about had a come apart. Everyone kept telling me it was probably fluid weight but still I was not a happy woman!
Your only out three weeks and you have lost 30 lbs!! That is great! Remember you also went back to work. Are you getting in your water?
Keep up the great job!
I have read that around Week 3 many people have a stall as the body gets use to the surgery and new calorie restrictions stay on track and you will most Lilly have a big jump in a week or so.i would be happy to have a 30 lbs loss in the past it would take me a year to get that off only to regain it so have faith it will come off . Good luck
Wow I am so glad to see this post today - I am a month out and have lost 30 pounds as well - but that includes my pre-op weight loss. I guess I am going to be a slow loser - which is kind of depressing when looking at other sleevers big losses. But I have to remind myself that like Cndgins that I would never have lost 30 pounds in this time frame and it would have come back anyway. I have to try to be patient - but it is not my strong suit! I am also getting 500 to 600 calories in and meeting my water and protein goals - guess my body just doesn't want to let go! I DO need to get more exercise - so now that I've dusted off my treadmill - maybe that will get things going a bit faster. It is cold and dark here in Northern MN so I hate to walk outside for the most part. Going to try a belly dance class tonight - Hahaha! That will be interesting! Hang in there SleevedRN - you are doing GREAT!!!
