I am pre-op still I have completed my bariatric program and have a date of December 4th for my surgery. I see my surgeon on November 7th to finalize my paper work for my surgery to be sent to my insurance for approval. I will be glad once I get the approval letter from my insurance so I will know for sure this is going to happen. Good luck on your quest for a new you!

Hey there! I'm now just waiting for approval from my insurance company and anxious to get the approval so that I can get a date hopefully by this time next month or early december.

My date is November 6th. Just started the pre-op diet today.

I started my journey on June 8th and I will be having my surgery on Halloween. It has been a lot of work with meetings, doctors appointments, deductibles, tests and of course this pre op diet but I am so excited. I can't wait until next week.

I am scheduled for surgery on the 13th of Nov. in Washington, just had my last appointment with the surgeon and nurse to day. Will start my diet on the 6th of nov getting a little nervous.

Finished insurance required 6 months of diet visits with PCP. Did the required bloodwork & found out I'm hypothyroid, Vitamin D deficient & prediabetic. Did the required 2 visits with psych. Received a call today from the bariatric program & my 1st appt is on Tuesday! Hoping for surgery by the end of the year.

I'm not sleeved yet either. I'm going to a seminar tomorrow with a dr I've heard great things about locally. I'm hoping to be able to make my first consultation appt tomorrow as well. Just getting started.....

My surgery is Dec. 10th. I had my lap band removed in Aug and now waiting the required 90 days for sleeve surgery. My surgery scheduling was finalized yesterday in fact. All pre-op appts for labs and surgery clearance are scheduled for the week before surgery and my final pre-surgery appt with the surgeon is the day before Thanksgiving. So excited!

The process goes so fast! You'll be getting your surgery before you know it!

Hi guys, I am also in process. I have had one of my nutrition consults,my psych eval that I am anxiously awaiting results, my first surgeon visit, my four months of Dr. monitored weight loss attempts. I got to my second nutrition meeting tonight and the last next Wed. Then they can file the insurance and I get the date. I have a lot of other health problems so I am really scared.

I go for my Endoscopy on Oct, 30th, and I have my psychiatric evaluation on November 11th. My PCP has written his letter for the insurance company. I'm trying to get there.....

I have a few appointments next week and then a few in November, hopefully I'll be getting my exact date by next month.

Do you have to get an endoscopy done, rebecca?

I had mine last week and it was a real eye opener for me. Going in for that procedure and getting gowned up, I got excited, like "THIS REALLY IS GOING TO HAPPEN"
