Dr Ortiz was my doctor as well, He is great. Mi Doctor hospital was very clean and everyone was friendly. I had a great expierence. Are you going through A Lighter Me?

Hi. I had surgery in MX on 1/18/2012. Search my previous posts and you'll see what I want thru. It was a piece of cake. And I had a wonderful experience. I'm down 75 lbs and I feel and look great. I'm wearing a size 10 and if I exercised I'd be in an 8. This was a blessing and I wish I was younger when I did it. Good luck to you and don't worry. Enjoy the experience.

I am going with Dr Ortiz on Oct 18th from all I have studied( a rediculous amount of research) I expect to be very pleased. I will update.

raginredhead, I work in SW Missouri : ) You should be really happy with your experience, I know that I was!! I also did tons of research. I thought at points my brain would explode!! lol

Thank you, I will be thinking of you and all the others having surgery the next couple of weeks. Really can use any suport and ideas or just remembers that I can get. My family doesn't understand what I'm going through. They are comming around to supporting me. But most of all I kinda feel like I'm getting scolded about what I should have been eating or what I should it now. I know they are just tryn to help in there own ways.

I am scheduled to go to Dr. Quinones on Dec. 11 in TJ. My family does not understand what I am going through or my decision either.

Just like us I think they go through differant feelings at differant times. I find that one day someone is more supportive and the next they have total different attitudes. Who knows what's going on in their heads. But I'm very greatful to have found this forum.. it has been here for me when no one else is. Feel free to talk to me about whatever you like. We can do this and we are strong.
