My surgery was with SC Obesity Center. My doctor is Dr. Strickland and he's great. I'm not the biggest fan of the nutritionist there, but otherwise a great experience. I think the pre-surgery diet was pretty bad. I had to do mine for 3 weeks. It takes a little time feeling normal after the surgery so take your time and don't rush to want to go to the next stage. If I could go back I'd try to live in the moment/stage I was in instead of rushing.

Thanks for your advice! How long did it take from your initial visit to your surgery date? Any recommendations on protein powder, bars, etc.? I have bought several different types for trial and error, but would love any advice that you can share! Thanks again!

I believe my initial appointment was around March 20th about a week after the seminar and I had my surgery on June 4th. There was one powder that I was able to use (tolerate) for my pre-op diet but haven't really used it sense. Drinking them twice a day for 3 weeks cured me of wanting to taste it again. I'll have to look at the name of it when I get home and let you know. I know they sold it at Bilo.

You have lost a lot of weight!! Is it really hard? What about head hungry? I'm concerned about that!!
