    Default I'm finally home

My journey began on June 4th I went imt to have my gastric sleeve I ended up having a leak and was in the hospital for 8 weeks I battled fevers pneumonia drains stents infection. my complications were horrible. I am home I've lost 60 pounds and I love that I miss food I throw up every morning at least once from spit and mucus. This is a very serious operation that has to be considered from all aspects and make sure that you investigated thoroughly would I do it again with no complications I certainly would with what I went through absolutely not.
Good luck to all of you

Glad your going to be ok. I cannot begin to imagine how I would feel about a surgery with that kind of complications. Nice to hear that you would still have the surgery without complications. I hope the rest of your recovery is uneventful. Way to go on your weight loss.

So sorry to hear you had a leak, it really does show us that this can happen and be very serious but it also shows us that if it was t happen then you can recover. Can I ask how far out your leak was found? and what symptoms made you suspect a leak?

    I wish you well x x x

Wow you had yours the day after me! It makes me feel terrible to think while I have been moseying along the last 3 months living life, healing and feeling good about myself someone else was in the hospital for 8 weeks. Having surgery is such a scary decision to make, will I be the 1% that dies, will I get a leak, will I be the one who vomits every time I eat etc... I have been blessed so far and I am truly sorry you have been through such a hard time, hopefully you can get back to normalcy and start reaping the rewards of weight loss. Good Luck
