Getting ready to start my pre-op liquid diet. Wondering if any of you have any liquid ideas that got you thru? I have the protein shakes and chicken broth. After that I'm kinda in the dark? Can I have fat free pudding with protein added? Help!

I'd say no to the pudding, but SF jello & SF popsicles are ok, as they are both considered a liquid. Crystal Light is a good option, too. Good luck!

I was allowed to also have strained cream soup such as cream of mushroom or chicken and also allowed to have cream of wheat but with additional liquid to make it thin like a soup.

I was on a complete liquid diet. I blogged everyday of my pre-op diet if you care to look. It has what I drank everyday. Wish you the best & keep your eye on the prize at the end.

When I searched the internet the other night I typed in "clear liquid diet" and "full liquid diet". The websites give you a list of each and you can pick what you want from the list for yourself. I am not a jello fan at all so will not touch it. Clear liquid is anything you can see through, like apple juice, cranberry juice, etc.
