Hello World,

Its been long since I've been on this site and updated things. I remember being new and wished the older sleeve's would come back and update their progress so here is a facial shot, I have lost a total of 85 lbs now since December 18 2012, I don't know if that is a lot or to little but seems just right for me. I am currently at a stall now for about 3 weeks which has my friends and fiance questioning everything that goes into my mouth, but I'm ok with it, my body must be redistributing the fat because I'm still losing inches. I exercise when I can I was good from Feb until the middle end of May, but I got engaged and started painting rooms ready for my fiance and his daughter to move in, so I have still been active just not using any formal equipment. I feel absolutely terrific with no complications thus far. I did notice a minimal increase in hair loss, but it has gone back to the normal hairs left in the brush etc. I still say this is the best decision I have ever made for myself. Cheers Jenny

Me too (ditto what Harley Granny said), thanks so much for posting. Your before and after face shot looks amazing. It reminds me of myself because since I'm heavy, I wear my hair back a lot and look like your before shot. I can't wait to have my surgery - 4 weeks for today - yippee!! Still scared to death though!!

You look great Jenny. I am early in the process, will see the Doc July 11 to see what test they will order. My ins. only requires a three month wait. Hope to have my surgury in Oct or Nov. Keep up the good work and best wishes for your new family. Steve

Great job, Jenny! I miss you on MFP but we all have to spread our wings and go out on our own eventually. Congrats on the engagement. Stalls happen, you have a great perspective on it. We can't lose crazy amounts every week or every month.

Jenny, you look fabulous! You MUST feel great...both physically and emotionally. I'm a little over a month behind you and 10 lbs behind you as well so I'm guessing we're following a similar path. My loss has slowed down too but in the grand scheme of things, 75 lbs over 5 months time ain't bad in ANYONE'S book. It averages out. Thanks for the update and keep us posted along the way. You're right...it's so inspirational to see the journey of others who have preceded us. Best of everything on the engagement and impending marriage.

Thank you, Jenny, for posting your photos and your update. You look great!!!! It really helps to see and hear from someone that has already been through the surgery. Any hints or tips will be much appreciated. My surgery date is only 15 days away. I'm nervous but excited.
