WoW! Im on my 3rd week post op and we were told we couldn't even vacumn and your getting ready to mow the lawn!? Really? We also cant have tuna until our 5th week, although I'm sure we can, at least I can tollerate it. I think it is just our dietiotion at my surgens office who made up everything for us to eat and made a binder of it. I ate a slice of turkey lunch meat today just fine. I'm going to take it slow though with the meats until the 5th week I guess. But sounds like your getting in everything pretty well huh? Including your vitamins?

Wow I can't get a tin of tuna in now and I'm almost ten months out, that's pretty impressive. And a whole egg? I probably wouldn't mow the lawn for a week or two yet though, 8 days out is probably pushing it a little....GL and happy weight loss!

hardest part I am having is that my children and wife love to eat. and I have always been a giant eater. When I sat down and ate almost a whole large pizza by my self, then I knew I needed help. My children dont know what it is like to "cut back" or not enduldge because they have always seen me do it and now I am going through this drastic change. I have lost friends and my own family because of this decision to have the surgery. I am not doing it just to be skinny, or because I want to look good. I am doing it because of health issues that have to be taken care of and without having this surgery are not going to be able to be addressed. This is probally going to be the hardest thing I have ever done.

Feels good dont it. I am one week out and called my NUT today about progressing to pureed. I have never had a sweet tooth and the protein drinks SUX big time and I was getting to where I couldn't drink them without nausea. She told me to go ahead and start slow and see how my sleeve would handle it. Never thought I would be excited about eating a scrambled egg but I had to call people and tell them. Held it down without any problems. Now I am confident I can get the protein I need. Good job to you on your progress. After you get your yard done, come on over and do mine i feel like doing it, just dont want too.
