Hair loss isnt that bad.. Just keep up the protein and vitamin intake. Here in Brazil they suggested me to take "pantogar" I dont know if in mexico they have it but if they do buy some and keep it for when the day comes.

I was standing in line, and a little girl asked me why my stomach was so big. Other people ask me how far along I am(when I was in my 40's). I looked 9 mos. pregnant, and now I have lost 5 inches in my waist. I'm looking better and feeling better. Thanks Dr. Almanza for changing my life.

I have two worst mo e ts I ran into a long time family friend standing in line behind him and he never even noticed me, I never said hello either I was so embarrassed.

And the other my nephew was with us for the evening heis slightly difficult toubegin with, well he was scolded by me for misbehaving so he leaned over and whispered to my son your Mom is fat. My son stuck up for me but I felt so so bad for him.

There are so many! I remember someone making a comment about me "expecting". Ugh. That has to be the worst. And someone one I barely knew 20 years ago said when I ran into her recently, "wow, last time I saw you, you were skinny!" And that was after a 30lb weight loss. Gee, thanks for ruining my motivation. (I promptly gained that 30lbs back). Yeah, I guess someday I'll look back and smile at those memories.

Last summer I went to a water park in New Hampshire with my daughter and her friend. We were in the lazy river and I wanted to get into a tube. Of course you know where this is going... Yes, yes I did get stuck in the tube! I begged my daughter and her Frie d to stay with me until I popped my tube, but wasn't able to! I resorted to telling a life guard, "ummmm, I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm stuck in my tube!" She laughed and said it happenes all the time! For my daughter and her best friends birthday I told them we would go back to the same water park. They both said " where you were stuck in e tube?" yes, girls! Lol my daughter reassured me I would not get stuck in the tube this year!

I have a benign brain tumor that i am supposed to have an mri on every year to watch. last year,(i am at my heaviest ever) I went to get an mri and after several attempts and even using strapping tape to hold down my boobs and belly, I was told that i was too big to fit in the machine. It was always a tight fit, but that was one of the most embarrassing events in my life. I didnt even attempt to have one this year.

Next year the machine will be too big for you. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I have always been told that I have a beautiful face and every time I hear these words I cringe. One day last summer, my mother convinced me to visit her God mother that has been placed in a nursing home because she is 92 and has been diagnosed with dementia. My mother's God mother was so glad to see me (although she couldn't recall my name), she grabbed my hand and said in her very fragile voice, "You are so pretty, fatty fatty." I simply laughed it off because even in her state of mental confusion she realized that I was overweight. I am counting down the days until I can take this fat suit off.

Splendaa...So far I've lost 30 lbs. It's slow, but just losing it and keeping it off is what counts with me. I think my body was in starvation mode and held onto some of my fat. Before I had my surgery I couldn't even lose 3 lbs. without gaining it back plus more. I love my tool! LOL...Bonnie

Once complimented a friend on her lovely outfit and she blurted out, "Thanks, lose some of that weight and I'll let you borrow it sometime."


To hubby's Aunt: "A woman your size really shouldn't go around without a bra on."

Last visit to an old doctor: "We need to run some blood work..."
Me: "Can you maybe check my thyroid?"
Doc: "Lady, every fat woman in America thinks she has a thyroid problem."


First (and ONLY!!) visit to new doctor: "So..., why you eet dee graby and de butter and de may-YO-naize?"

Its more scary than really bad, its never great to loose hair. It doesnt come out in clumps, but just lots of strands mostly when your washing your hair. Start taking a dose of biotin just now 5000mg then carry on after surgery.
