Ok I know this may sound disgusting and ridiculous. But I'm way too excited at being able to go poop! I'm so glad I didn't trust the fart like everyone said I just ran straight for the bathroom. I got rid if a ton of air and stiffness. I feel so relieved. Again I'm sorry so graphic but if ur in post op pain just wait till you go poop. You will be doing a happy dance!!!

That's true.. But the diarrhea ain't no joke.. They said most people get constipated not me.. And I'm thankful for that.. Who would guess someone would be thankful for diarrhea..

Girl it felt fantastic. I think the pain meds shut
Down my digestive track bc as soon as I waited a while to take them and just took liquid Tylenol I was able to go. I feel so much better. I bet I'll even have a protein shake and water.

I am on day 2 and nothing yet.
I am approaching my 2 week mark post op, and seem to have stalled in that area. Alot of #1-but, no #2.

Until I could add coffee back in, I was only going every 9 days even with dulcolax (both oral and suppositories). It was miserable.

Did anyone do like mutamucil before surgery? It has psyllium in it which usually helps people go. I am not sure if that is something that is allowed. I use it now - and I drink it...and it works wonderfully. I was planning on keeping that part of my diet about twice a week if I have a problem.

I used the Metamucial Simply Clear on evening of my 3rd day and on the 4th day...voila! I put it in mix it in my water about every 3 days and it works wonders. I highly recommend it! Milk of Mag. also works and that is what my doc sent me home with.
