    Default December 2013 sleevers/checking in

    Starting weight: 232
    surgery weight: 216
    current weight: 179

this has been the best decision of my life and i have no regrets. Only 3 months out and im finally in control of my food. I still enjoy food and can eat most things but i dont. I have given up soda completely and most sweets. I had a brownie once and it made me nausous. Im feeling good and looking good and soaking up all the compliments. I will wait and post a 6 month picture. It's only been 3 months so im excited to see where i will be in 3 more months. Hope everyone else who sleeved in december 2013 is doing well.

I am feeling good, I continue to lose and feel a difference in my clothes. I did cut my hair super short because it was falling out, but I am more than willing to sacrifice my hair in my journey to onederland!

I'm adjusting to the new me, I love being able to not feel hungry. My hunger used to define me. I'm only down 33lbs, but I'm super happy with that. It's more than I would have ever done on my own. 😊

    Starting wight : 229
    Surgery weight : 211
    Now :171
    Total 58 lbs
I've stalled out due to shift change and not getting to the gym when I should. Still adjusting to working grave shift. Hoping to find a better time for squeezing the gym, three kids, and sleep into my schedule.

    Goal 115...I'm very short

Feeling great, eating great, exercising moderately. Was in a size 16-18 before the surgery now size 8 is getting loose! Best thing I could have done for myself! I can share clothes with my friends...super excited about that...soon I'll be able to share clothes with my teenage daughter. And I have a lot of extra energy to go around for my toddler.
    Reason: typo on starting weight

I'm just now getting to eat solids due to a leak so I am still trying to adjust to eating again. A long way to go, but getting there slowly.

I am doing great. I try real hard to eat right at the right time. I am walking at least 4 miles everyday. I also have a home workout with my Kettlebell and rubber bands hooked to the door. I feel like my weight loss is slow but very steady at 2-3 lbs. a week. I have been fighting hunger in the evenings. Hard to deal with but I am doing my best to avoid bingeing. I could do that so easy at night. I am really motivated to succeed and reach my goal weight. Maybe even a little more. I feel very lucky to be in this program and to have this forum to fall back on. I read way more than I post and it really helps. Thank you for all the posts and comments to others that help me succeed. My motto is: Effort=Results. Greg

This has been the best thing I have ever, ever done for myself. I feel so much better and have so much more energy! I actually went to a store today and bought clothes instead of standing in the dressing room crying and leaving empty handed like I used to do. I have gone from a 30/32 shirt to a 22/24 shirt and from size 28 jeans (that did not button or zip..so I guess I would have technically been a size 30 jeans) to a size 18!!

I log everything I eat on Myfitnesspal and I try really hard to get all of the protein and water in each day. I am almost never hungry so some days I struggle to eat what I need for fuel and protein, but I try. I recently started going to the gym and I am actually enjoying it!

The only negative I have seen so far is that I feel like maybe my hormones are out of wack. I am really short tempered and really struggle with being angry. I have done some reading and I think it is almost like a death. The addiction to food is dying and I am going through the stages of mourning and apparently anger is one of those stages. So, I don't really like feeling so angry and I am working on that one.

Overall, I would do it again in a New York minute!

I am now 6 months out and doing well. Still losing and learning with my sleeve. I have gone from a 24 to a 14/16 and my shoe size has gone from an 8 to a 7! Love this new life!
