Just answered her - I use "Grace Sleeved" on that kind of forum as a name. Fitting, hey?
My answer - not bad for a wiccan
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
My stomach offended me. My level of ghrelin - the hormone my stomach made way too much of, that caused me endless, excruciating hunger, offended me. Therefore it was not only my right, but if you are going to go around speaking for God then I say the above passage says I have not only the right to have my stomach reduced, but a divine right. By doing so, I have been able to have the best chance of reducing my temple, the vessel of my soul; to a size more able to allow me to live the precious life I was given to the fullest. By doing so, I have gained peace, enlightenment and and end to the hellish torture that is hunger out of control.
You know what I think? I think you wish you had the guts to do what we've done. Judge not, lest thee be judged.
