I just got this info back from labwork done over the weekend. Does this mean I should not be having surgery? Should I be worried. My CRP was 33 and my sedimentation rate is 29. I have been reading this all day since I got the results. It looks like the CRP is at a dangerous level and that I may be at risk for a stroke/heart attack at any time.
None of my other tests were indicative of this. My chloestrol, liver, kidneys, cbc, ekg, echo, were all normal. Vitamin D3 is low.
Also, found out that I had a 2.6 cm left adnexal cyst.
My cardiologist seems to think that its ok and is doing a a nuclear stress test on me for my own benefit but has also sent me to a rheumatoid doctor and a hematologist and told me to rush everything since I was planning surgery within 2 week. To me it sounds like he is unsure himself or maybe he is doing this for my own benefit.
Anybody run into this problem?
