Has anyone tried this? Is it ok on the full liquid stage? I'm trying to find more options when I'm on the go. According to the nutritional facts it has 1g of carb and 45g of protein. Oh yeah, hi I'm a newbie!!
Just out of curiosity, how long does it take you to "drink" the 20 oz size?

I find those numbers a bit hard to swallow (pun intended ). Just the fruit alone would give you carbs, sugar, and fibre, nevermind the fruit juice. Those numbers must be for the protein powder only.
It is for the Protein Powder only. I bought the GLADIATOR Huge Container of Strawberry Protein Powder and the label reads the same except it saids 2 gms Carbs and 190 calories. BUT, that is for 2 scoops of the powder. You can make a Smoothie with just one scoop if you only want 22 gms of protein and a smaller amount to drink at one time. When I actually go there and order a smoothie, I always say NO SUGAR OR SPLENDA (same at Tropical Smoothie Cafe) or they will sometimes automatically add it. The fresh fruit sweetens it enough but it is all good carbs. I drink at least two or three a week usually on my "cold days"...when I just don't have a taste for any hot food Also, I get the Junior Size because, even at 18 months out, a 20 ouncer is just too much. Trust me, I WILL try to drink it and then feel way too full. Anywaaaay...YUM!
I get them all the time... They usually add 2 fruits and the lowest in carbs are strawberries and Kiwi... at least that is what my surgeon's PA told us... some places to not have fresh strawberries and you may want to ask them to "drain and rinse" .. I usually just get the chocolate without fruit and ask them to add extra ice so it will not be so much liquid.... The Lean ONe is very good too, but higher in carbs...
Thanks for the help. I was out and about yesterday and wanted some suggestions. I ended up there and I got a new one called the Versues. It had one scoop is strawberry gladiator powder and one scoop of the vanilla lean one blended with skim milk. It was 50g of protein!!! I was excited about that but I only had a few spoonfuls. They wouldn't sell me the junior size so it was a waste. Lesson learned...
