Had my surgery on Feb 15th, 2013

Hello,
I had my surgery on 02/15/13. I followed the pre op diet and will follow the post op diet. Walking is the key, get up and walk as soon as you can. The clinic does not push this enough and isn't really designed to promote it...but do it, even if you just walk up and down the short halls. I did and had almost no problem with gas. With respect to the gas issue, the recommend Gas X, however if you can find ENO powder (on Amazon or in Indian stores) it works almost instantly.

We shall see how the journey goes.

congrats on your surgery hope your have a good recovery. You are right we need to walk as soon as we can. How odd I remember on the seminar they told us 100% of our patients are walking a few hours after surgery and you will not be the exception. I walk for a while w my husband then the following day w a nurse then later again w my husband.

well done congradulations on your surgey and wishing all the best for a quick and easy recovery, I am still to find out when my surgery is am looking forward to the results, not the surgery and little bit after but am taking note from all that have so hopefully i can breeze my way through...lol
