Chromium any one?

I'm considering taking the mineral chromium picolinate to help reduce carb cravings and jump start my metabolism again. However, the name reminds me of the movie Erin Brockovich and I'm a little nervous. Has any one tried this mineral?

i took it years ago because ive tried everything known to man before i got the sleeve. its a total waste of money IMO.

I used to take it back in the Atkins era.
I thought the idea of the sleeve was to eat normally (allbeit smaller) with some basic vitamin and mineral supplementation.
I want to let go of the fads we have lived with regarding our metabolism etc. and that is what drives me towards surgery.
May I ask if your surgery in unsuccessful or why you need to try alternate methods?

Thanks Bilbyl. I've been stuck on a long plateau and am trying to kick start my metabolism the quick and easy way.....never realized I'd fallen back into an old habit.

One of the reasons I got the sleeve is so I could give up all these fad options for losing weight and use my sleeve to develop a healthy relationship with food. If you are having a struggle with your sleeve you may want to seek advise from a nutritionist.

After surgery I haven't really taken anything like that. At time w stalls I'm tempted but I did the surgery bc everything else fails. Ask your doctor and see if it's okay to take that and do research perhaps it will help now!
