Hello, my nutritionist adviced me not to eat raw veggies except lettuce for three months after surgery, just wondering when did you started eating raw veggies and what kinds?
Thanks
I have had a wedge or two of an orange, a small spear of broccoli and squash.

I eat raw veggies, including lettuce, quite often. I have been eating them since 3 months post-op. I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Man I still can't hardly eat lettuce and I'm over 1 year out. I miss salads so much. If I eat them, I can only get down maybe 1/2 cup. It just doesn't agree with my sleeve for some reason. Chew them up good is all I can say.
I had a sliver of raw carrot over the holidays, it tasted like candy but better for me. Most of the time I am eating cooked but I do miss my carrots and apples (like I could eat a whole apple). Did try some watermelon -- it doesn't taste as good as it does on a hot summer day, but then it is out of season. Can't wait until next summer for fresh picked fruit and vegetables!
My docs office said no raw veggies for 6 months!! Only steams, softer ones.
