Growing up I almost always ate canned pears with cottage cheese and grew to love it. I had some fresh pears that melted in your mouth so that's what I've had with my cottage cheese. I peeled them first.
Sam's has a protien drink that has 30 grams of protein and it really is great tasting. The name of the product is Premier Protein
160 calories . I like the chocolate flavor. I usually add a packet of sweet n low to it but it's pretty good without it.
Haven't tried the vanilla yet . Also Special K has a protein drink with 15 grams of protein, I tried the strawberry and it was pretty good and not too expensive.
I like you do not like cottage cheese.
I mix my cottage cheese with my yogurt. (I like greek but reg. would work too) I just do equal amounts of both. Also have mixed applesauce with cottage cheese. But the cot. ch/yogurt is a go to hi protein concoction for me. Also have taken a small container of Ricotta cheese, mix with one egg spread in a pan, top w/ marinara sauce and bake. Makes a panful to use thruout the week in 1/4 cup servings for pureed meals. YUM.
Ick I don't care for CC either but I have found that I DO like ricotta and they are pretty similar. I mix the ricotta with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of grated romano and pop it into the microwave- it tastes like the inside of a calzone- goes down EASY! You could probably try it with CC too...
