I haven't had my surgery yet but it's almost set for January 21 hopefully. And I dont know why I just feel like it's to good to be true.
Does anyone else feel like that? I feel like it's not possible for me to loose any weight even after my surgery. I have never been thin in my life and I can't believe that it's going to be possible after this surgery.
I'm just so excited and can't wait till I get it over with!

haha I've stopped buying clothes. I've bought a couple in smaller sizes and it feels kind of weird but I am so excited and can't wait to get started in my weight loss journey

I got my sleeve about 10 days ago and I'm in the phase where I'm losing what used to be a really good week on an old style diet every day. I just did my measurements and I've also lost over 10 inches as well.
Total inches lost to date 38.6 inches 98.0 cm
Highest weight 325
1st Goal - below 300 (12/12/30) 9 days after surgery'
2nd Goal - 265 weight I met my wife (13/2/23)
3rd Goal - 250 lowest weight in my 30's (15/4/2013)
4th Goal - 215 lowest weight as an adult ()
5th Goal - below 200 ()

i have the opposite mind set. I was always thin until 6 years ago. I can tell you I never thought I would lose it. It will happen and it will be wonderful. It is not a easy first couple of weeks though. You also have to remember IF YOU ARE NOT MOVING YOU ARE NOT LOSING!!!! Walk, swim, buy a dog so you have to walk lOL you will do great.

Its so good and so gonna happen for you...I've been losing steady for seven months! I can shop in regular stores but now i only shop in consignment stores because I'm not staying in one size very long...its so exciting! I've dropped from a size 20 to a comfortable 12 so far and that is just a miracle for me. Good luck and don't worry it WILL happen.

It's been 13 months for me - down 90 lbs, no more type II, sleep apnea gone, waist down from 52 inches to 38 inches - it's good - and it's true.
