Don't know what your doctors plan is so I can't say what is right for you. I started pureed food on day 5 and was up to about a 1/4 cup of whatever food I wanted as long as I pureed it first and added some liquid to it to make it not to thick. When it can to soup I could drink a whole lot more then the 1/4 cup if all liquid. As I said I don't know your plan but hopefully and amounts will help. Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy healthy new year.
Safely take 1/4 cup of soup at a time....2 times a day, with a protein shake in between at snack times. If its mostly broth your tummy may think its just like water and you may not feel full....don't over do it, better to take less than too much. At two weeks, I was recommended to try Greek yogurt at breakfast....again, 1/4 cup only....sure satisfied me, as did 1/4 cup of thin oatmeal.
Ask away.
Merry Christmas
