Need info on lower body lift (excess skin on butt & thighs)

Hi everyone

I really want to get a lower body lift to cut off the excess skin literally hanging on my butt......i wanna look beautiful in a swimsuit & in front of my spouse, & after losing 109 lbs , i deserve to

I'll hopefully get the money, but i have other concerns:

1- I have a typical desk job (9 to 5 job), when can i resume it?
2- how long is the stay at the hospital?
3- What are the restrictions & for how long?
4- How long were you sore?
5- When does sitting stop hurting?
6- How many weeks off work needed?
7- Where are the scars?
8- Do they go away? my sleeve scars are still there.........

1) The Smart Woman's Guide to Plastic Surgery by Jeanne Loftus-you can buy it on Amazon, half.com, etc.
2) Google Utube for lower body lifts.

Will answer most of your questions...or at least tell you where to start in terms of answering them. The book gives location of the scars, etc. but you also want to talk to real women who went thru it, I don't think anyone here has done that yet, that's where Utube comes in handy...

I had a tt with breast lift with implants and extensive lipo four weeks ago. I started working some last week. Not full time but about half. I think this week I could have gone full time but I had an additional surgery on my hand last Friday. The tt was not too bad only hurt for a few days, breast were a breeze. Lipo. Not so much. It was the worst, I am very glad I did it but don't think I would do any more. Then again, when I look in the mirror I am so happy that I might get another tweak if I ever needed it.

On August 22 I had a circumferential body lift. Basically my scar goes all around my body. If I put on underwear that is not a teeny tiny bikini, then my scars are covered. I have been using Scarguard MD to help with my scars and am very pleased. I was able to sit up within the first week or so. However it was uncomfortable to sit or stand straight for about two weeks. Depending on how extensive your surgery is (I also had a breast lift with saline implants done at the same time) you might need two to three weeks off. I quit taking the pain medication after about 3 to 4 days. I was more uncomfortable with having to stay in a semi-sitting position in a recliner in my living room for two weeks. I could only get up to go to the kitchen or to the bathroom. As of today, I am still a little sore in places. I'm also a little numb in a few places but that is getting better.

Since I am having the second part of my surgery at noon today (I'm having my arms, inner thighs, and a back lift done), I did not really get released to do a lot of exercising. Just mostly walking.

I would highly suggest doing a Google search for lower body lifts and look at the photos. Many plastic surgeons have before and after photos on their webpages. I would also suggest that you go to Plastic Surgery Stories, Forums, Before & After Pictures - it is a great resource. Plastic surgeons actually answer questions. My surgeon is one of the docs who provides answers.
