Default 2 weeks in and sooooo tired of fluids

Anyone else here feel like they were going mad in the first couple of weeks? I have noticed most things i can have are in the sweet category, runny yogurt, custard, opti fast, up and go, light milk, natural juices, really the only savory thing i have been able to have is cuppa soups and really really runny pumpkin soup, theres only so much of one thing you can have before you start to twitch, PLEASE tell me im not alone here and that someone else felt like having a major sook LOL i guess the hard part and the major thing i didn't realise or really think of is that surgery changes the size of your stomach and not the way you think.

    hi amelia
so so true work on the head and just do what you know you have to do, have the longer term view in your mind (skinny) lol, iam 1 week out and on fluids and i know what you mean, but then i look back at the 4 week opti diet i did before the opt and this liquid phase is easy (for me) so stick it out (day by day)

Amelia, try some soft soft foods & see how your new tummy feels. Hate to admit this but at 2 weeks I was able to consume tuna fish with light mayo. Of course was only a lil bit but still, I didn't feel so deprived. Even mashed potatoes. I seriously skipped the pureed diet also & I think I'm doing pretty good. It's whatever your lil tum tum will tolerate. If you have any questions feel free to message me. Good Luck! xoxoxoxo

Yep...know exactly how you feel. Almost 3 weeks out and and tried mashed potatoes thinned down and it wonders for my head.
