November goal update - When we started I was 156lbs, so 2 lbs away from a healthy BMI, I hit that goal I also wanted to reach the 140s and as of today I have hit that goal too!!! Due to illness running rampant in my house, Insanity has been put on hold but hope to be able to jump back in on Monday. I've been a little better about protein and water, there is still room for improvement so I will continue to work on those. So just about halfway through the month and I have already met my two biggest goals... Now back to working on the others Good luck everyone, I hope you are all making great progress this month.

Trip to NYC Dec 1, 2011 - around 270 if I had to guess
    PCP Appt. March 1, 2012 - 260 lbs

    39 Days Post-Op July 2, 2012 - 199lbs
    247 Days Post-Op January 25, 2013 - 135lbs GOAL

Oh, I forgot to add... I also made it down to a size 6! So a big check mark on that goal too Thanks IrishGypsy... you'll get there too, it seems like just yesterday I was reading through this site envying all the people who were into their journeys and feeling so inspired. Others on here still inspire me and it gives me great joy and pride to know that I am able to do that for others

Weight has stalled again.. I'm doing my exercises every day and trying to drink more fluids.
This is the most weight I've every lost and once again it sticks like it does not want to let it go

So frustrated! Lost a few pounds the first few days of the month and nothing since! I am exercising like crazy and burning way more than the 800 or so calories I take in per day. I think I might pop the next person that says weight loss is as simple as calories in versus calories out. My body apparently has never subscribed to that theory! Still getting in my protein and limiting my carbs and drinking plenty of fluids, hopefully things will start moving even if slow. As someone who has battled PCOS for 20+ years, I always worry that my body will figure out how to keep me fat no matter what my efforts are!

So, I have blown the socks off my NOV goals!

I weighed 178.6 this morning AND I have been doing spinning classes that use the HIIT techniques. Wow, that really gave the weight loss a shot in the arm - loving it! I have lost about 10 pounds in a month which is great for being nearly a year out from surgery!!! My ultimate goal... is now like 21 pounds away - wow!

People who say that calorie thing have no idea.
Just some thoughts... try changing thiings up... maybe eating more calories and lower carbs... maybe adding higher intensity exercise, but shorter duration? Something that just shakes things up sometimes triggers the losses to start again. i have no real idea why but my NUT told me that trick and it really works!

Was pretty upset on Tues as I did not think the weight would start shifting again. I went on a date last nite and we walk all over the Victoria & Albert museum then walk from the V&A museum to Victoria. I just got on the scale and 4lbs have gone...whoo hoo!!!

Feel so much better that at last it's starting to move....and the date went well too

    2. Start to work out (asides from just walking).
    3. Continue to take at last two protein shakes a day plus vitamins. ( not on solids yet)
    4. Try to eat more. Still not quite hitting 350 calories a day.
    5. Do at least one special thing for just me this month and not talking myself out of it.
    6. Start "30" healthier than "29".
    1. As of today I weigh 279, did not meet my goal but still happy with my progress.
    2. Did start working out as of Monday when my dr finally released me to.
    3. Most days I do take both of my shakes, probably 5/7 days a week. Getting my vitamins daily.
    4. Getting between 600-800 calories daily, so def improved here.
    5. I don't remember, lol.
    6. Def done!

Drink more -- my kidney function is not happy with me right now -- hot lemon water here I come!

Reasoning -- people are starting to tell me that I don't need to lose more weight.
Ridiculous! I look good now in my size 12's but I need to get rid of the last of the tummy fat under my skin.
145 will be a BMI of (barely) under 25 -- so that is the first goal. 140 will be a BMI of 24. Sounds good to me!
    November 30th update:
142.6 pounds -- not 140 as hoped. I have been stalled out for the last 2 - 3 weeks bouncing between 141 and 145 pounds. Still, 6.2 pounds is not bad at all BMI solidly under 25. YIPEE!!!
I HAVE been swimming 1 mile at least 5 times per week -- so check plus on that one.
What's my December goal? Have to give it some thought....

    7/10: 238lbs,size 3x; 8/11: 221lbs size 22/2x; 6/12 B4 2 day liquid fast: 210 lbs; 6/13/12: 202.6 lbs

    November update

Goal #1: Keep working out at least 3 days a week (try harder to make it 4 days)
Result: Successful! 3 out of the 4 weeks I actually worked out 4 days.

Goal #2: I currently weigh 211 (down 54 pounds in 3 months) and would like to be knocking on "onederlands" door (so I will say I would like to lose at least 7 pounds) by the end of this challenge!
Result: Successful! This morning I weigh 202 pounds. So I lost 9 pounds this month

Goal #3: Do 50 crunches (on the balance ball) EVERY night before going to sleep.
Result: There are some night I forgot. So this goal was a "miss".

Goal #4: Continue to keep a food journal
Result: Successful! I really enjoy keeping a food journal.

Goal #5: Attend this months support group
Result: Successful! This month the guest speaker was a plastic surgeon so I gained some valuable information.

4 out 5 goals met. Bring on December

    Heaviest: 387 pounds (1999)
Weight last appointment prior to surgery: 265 (6/29/12)
Weight beginning of two-week full liquid/high protein diet: 265 (7/25/12)
Weight day of surgery (8/8/12): 253.2
    ONEDERLAND: 12/10/12: 198
    100 pounds lost 7/3/13
Reached goal weight of 160 pounds on 9/9/13 (1 year, 1 month, and 1 day post-op)
