Hey Tammy, I to am having surgery with Dr Ramos Kelly. I need to ask you were you nervous going to Mexico to have your surgery? I am scheduled for Aug. 8 with Dr Kelly, what his facilty clean as they say? did everything go well for you? I know everyone has different experiences. but I just want to hear it from someone about Dr. Kelly, staff, hosp. and you have been sleeved since 5/26 and its almost two mo. for you.

Hey Lori, I am having surgery from Dr. Kelly also, were you happy with his services? how was the hosptial where the surgery is done? I am real nervous and scared to go to Mexico. My whole family is against the procedure being done in Mexico. I just need some reasuring words. for encouragement! thanks for all the info you can share with me. Pat

Hey yankegal....I'm having surgery next week with Dr. Ramos-Kelly. I'll let you know how it goes. Tammy and Lori had great experiences and that's what convinced me. I am getting nervous and excited about the surgery. I leave on Sunday for surgery. I come back Thursday, so perhaps I can give you a report on Friday.

Yea. I had a good experience with Dr. Kelly and his staff. The service was great! The best part was getting out and not having to wait on discharge papers. I just walked out with my driver, who happened to be Dr. Kelly's son. The worst part for me was waking up from surgery and having gas pains, but after they gave me a shot in my bottom, I was much better and was happy!

I have had such problems with the lady from Obesity sollutions international, that now the flight I had planned has now been taken, I can't get a flight out as planned so now I have to reschedule my surgery. I emailed Trish and hope that they can help me. this has been the biggest mess i ever had! I am not dealing with Obesity solutions international anymore! she left me hanging, I am going to work directly with the office. I hope that they can take care of this. I am so frustrated, here I thought everything was ok. Now I have to start all over again, with a date to fly, a date for surgery, and taking more time off of work. I am ready to call it quits!

Mine is scheduled for 5-26-11....with Dr. Ramos-Kelly. Hey I did talk with Sheryl on here from Nevada, and she had great things to say about her experience. If you want to call her let me know...I"ll connect yall up. I felt so much better after talking with her..not so nervous.

I'm in Las Vegas and 99.9% sure I'm going with Dr. Kelly. Is it at all possible for you to either take my number and give it to your friend or give me hers? I'd love to talk to someone in my neck of the woods who has gone to Dr. Kelly.

Also ... I've spoken to Trish several times since deciding to do this. She recently sent me an email telling me to make my deposit into a personal email account. Is that what everyone else had to do? I'm soooo nervous about that.

Also ... did you have to get a passport to go in / come back from Mexico? If I have to get one then I guess I will be pushing my surgery date out until I can get a passport.

I had Dr. Kelly as well and I went through a broker though I dont remember which one (Sandy Johnson). I wired my money into a corporate wells fargo bank account in san diego... not sure what I would have done if I had been asked to wire it to a personal account. Also - the passport office in San Diego can get you a passport the same day (if you have proof you need it that day - like your sugery date/location confirmation. You have to get there early in the morning and have to come pick it up in the afternoon. I was able to do it the day before surgery, but if I had to do it over I would have given myself an extra day - was a little stressful! There are other locations that you can do the walk in as well - Chicago is one I think... But you do have to prove you need it within 2 weeks I think. Something to look into instead of postponing your surgery just for that.

I have talked to one girl who didn't get her passport in time, she brought her drivers license and birth certificate and she said she had no problems. hope this helps ask your brooker she should know.

Yes, that is true. One of my referrals didn't get her passport in time and they let her out with her birth certificate and driver's license.
